Stop-Motion #3

Hey Friends.
So, the next scene is the arrival of Indiana at the so called house of the evil sorcerer. I think this backlit situation has a pretty nice effect. As a small running gag, I let Indiana Bones always run over the light posts to add some funny aspects to the movie.

Stop-Motion #2

Hey guys.
We're moving on. This is a screenshot of the second scene. Indiana Lones is on his way to the evil wizard. What will await him?
For this picture, I took a flashlight and pointed it on the front of Indiana's car, where the light reflected on a silver piece of lego. Looks awesome, doesn't it?

Stop-Motion #1

Hey Folks.
Today I'll start to introduce you to my biggest project so far: a movie shot with the so called stop-motion technique. It basically means that you shoot a lot of (and a whole lot of) single photos which you afterwards put together as a video. It's a technique used by the avantgardists of movie animation.
The movie is called "Indiana Lones and the Wizard of Jego"
This is a screenshot from the first scene, where you get introduced to the hero. Some woman sends him on a quest to kill the evil sorceror.
I'll post the whole video as soon as I've introduced all of the scenes... so stay tuned!

Inspiration

While traveling through France, I stopped at St. Etienne, where this abandoned cole mine was. I encountered these safety hints which I instantly liked because of their authentic 50-flair. There are many designers nowadays trying to be as vintage as this. If you dig this kind of style, check these.

Paris is awesome

I shot that picture at the Montmarte Graveyard in Paris. No photoshop involved.
This guy brings his flowers to the crypt; was quite a nice situation there.
I loved that place. Stunningly beautiful in its peaceful, silent atmosphere.

The early bird gets the worm.

Yeah that's what you get when you're up early... an empty skatepark all for yourself.
I luckily catched a funny moment. Did it really hurt that much? Anyway - this is one of my first videos with my new camera. I think the quality and resolution is quite nice!

Hello World

This is the day of the birth of Blue Sphinx Studios! I'll be posting some video/photo productions and developments I'm doing occasionally. I hope we'll have a good time!
